Refund Policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
This policy applies to ByteCamel memberships. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes your payment, issues your receipts and invoices, and handles refunds and returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
1. Free trial
New memberships start with a free trial. The length of the trial is shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you confirm. You enter a payment method at checkout but are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged at all. If you don't cancel, the first payment is taken when the trial ends and the membership then renews automatically. Each account can use one free trial.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Billing in your account. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for (or until the end of your trial), and you are not charged again.
3. Refunds
- First payment: if you are not happy with your membership, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment.
- Renewals: if you forgot to cancel, you can ask for a refund of a renewal payment within 14 days of the renewal, as long as you have not used the membership since it renewed.
- Consumer rights: nothing in this policy limits any right to a refund or cancellation that the law gives you where you live.
When a refund is given, the membership ends straight away. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, normally within 5 to 10 business days of approval depending on your bank or PayPal.
4. How to ask for a refund
Use the contact form with the email address of your account, or contact Paddle through the link in your receipt email or at paddle.net. Paddle processes every refund.
5. Complimentary access and promotions
Complimentary access, including founding-member access from our launch offer, is free, so there is nothing to refund. Coupon discounts apply as described when you enter the code and at checkout, for the payments the coupon covers; after that the normal price applies. A refund is for the amount you actually paid.
