9 common Vim 9 tasks.

Move by character and line

Left, down, up, right. Prefix a count to repeat, such as 5j.

h j k l

Forward to the next word start, back to the previous word start, or to the end of the word.

w  b  e

Start of line, first non-blank character, and end of line.

0  ^  $

Go to the first line or the last line.

gg  G

Jump to line 42 of the file.

:42

Scroll down or up a full page.

Ctrl-f  Ctrl-b

Jump to the next or previous blank line.

Move between a bracket and its partner.
